Rallycross is a combination of rally racing and circuit racing in a closed course. The cars race door-to-door on a track that consists of right and left turns and mixed surfaces of dirt and asphalt. The race cars produce over 600hp and the ability to accelerate from 0-60 in less than two seconds.

scoring, rules, requirements and penalties differ for Each rallycross series. however, the basic format of rallycross remains the same around the world.
